When Microsoft Billionaire, Bill Gates,
chose the island of Lanai for his lavish wedding, the rest of the world
took notice. What was once a pineapple plantation quickly became a
destination for the rich and powerful with private jets flooding
Lanai's small airport.
There are only 2 major resorts here,
both of them Four Seasons. Beyond these resorts, there is only a small
handful of B&B's. Plain and simple, visiting Lanai can be very
costly, its remote nature keeps it from being accessible to the masses
and unless you plan to spend a great deal of money (and time) on your
vacation, let us recommend another island.
However, if the word "exclusive" describes your ideal Hawaiian vacation, look no further than LANAI.
