Recent Four Seasons Review: "This is a luxury property that lives up to its billing. It is expensive but worth it if you want to live a little. Only our second time on Maui but it is our favorite place--particularly if you don't have small children. We stayed next door at the Grand Wailea and it is great as well, but more for families in my opinion. At 4S there are more cabanas, nooks, and shaded lounge chairs that are complimentary, as they should be at these prices. We look forward to going back."

The resort has three outdoor pools: the fountain pool, the lagoon-style pool with waterfall, and the adults-only, infinity-edge pool. The resort’s restaurants include Spago, created by celebrity chef, Wolfgang Puck, and serving a fusion of Californian and Hawaiian cuisine; Ferraro’s Bar e Ristorante offering a menu of rustic Italian and seafood; and DUO serving prime steaks and seafood. The spa has 13 treatment rooms and three oceanside huts, and offers an array of treatments such as hot stone massages and body wraps. Some of the complimentary amenities include an outrigger canoe program, yoga classes, and use of cabanas and beach umbrellas.

Four Seasons Maui faces Wailea Beach, a large, fine-sand crescent with calm, clear waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The resort has three outdoor pools: the large Fountain Pool, the lagoon-style Upper Waterfall Pool, and the adults-only, infinity-edge Serenity Pool. Use of poolside cabanas is complimentary (surcharge for luxury cabanas). Complimentary outrigger-canoe excursions provide a chance to spot Hawaiian green sea turtles, colorful reef fish, manta rays, and, during the season, Pacific humpback whales. Other complimentary activities include tennis, introductory scuba lessons in the pool, volleyball, and Ping-Pong. Guests enjoy special privileges at the Wailea Blue Course, a quarter-mile from the resort.
The fitness center features a canopied outdoor cardiovascular area, as well as indoor aerobics and weight rooms. Yoga, Pilates, spinning, and other classes are complimentary (subject to availability).
