Recent Halekulani Review: "The service at the Halekulani is friendly, well-trained and efficient. From room service, ordering extra towels to retrieving our car from the valet - all were flawlessly delivered.
Food in Hawaii can be hit or miss and the Halekulani is all a hit. The top restaurant at the hotel, La Mer, is exceptional and not over-priced. The sommelier is very helpful and the wine prices are where they should be. The only complaint we have is the mai tais throughout the hotel bars and restaurants have way too much lime juice and are very citrusy / tart."

| A short guide to Waikiki |
|
Waikiki established its reputation as a getaway when the Moana Surfrider opened its doors in 1901. Today, more than 30,000 hotel rooms are packed in the skyscrapers along the golden sands of Waikiki Beach. At the end of Waikiki, Diamond Head towers as an enduring landmark. West of Waikiki, Pearl Harbor offers a somber testament to history and the victims of World War II.
