Recent Aqua Waikiki Pearl Review: "across the street from intl marketplace. close to food court. 2 blocks from beach access. right across from maddog saloon... was crackin during the weekend. dive bar right next to hotel... easy access to alcohol.
really enjoyed the outdoor access of rooms. the hotel is not like a "inside hallway" finding your door. you get fresh air the moment you step out the door. granted the walls are semi thin. and you hear when your neighbors close their door but no biggie.
ice machine was on the 7th floor. kind of a drag.
bathroom was super updated. stone or marble countertop for sink area. stainless fixtures for tub and sink. had a shelf under the sink so all of our products fit underneath.
I chose the room with a kitchenette. fridge was great for leftovers and to chill our drinks. included a microwave and coffee machine.
front desk offered beach towels. internet access in lobby. everything was clean and white. was able to call us a taxi quickly one night. brought us more towels and cups when we needed.
after 10pm, hotel access only if holding a key card... great for security reasons."
