Recent Aston Aloha Beach Review: "We chose a "garden view" room (slightly lower rate) which overlooked a swimming pool and nicely landscaped patio. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was great--relaxed, friendly and very helpful. One morning we hung up our rental car on a curb in the parking lot. The bellman and maintenance man spent 20 minutes with a jack and 2x4s getting us unstuck--and sent us on our way with a smile! Location is also wonderful, next door to a park and a protected snorkeling area that is like swimming in a big aquarium. And for those into Hawaiian history, there is a major heiau (sacred site) right outside the gate. Hotel is convenient to Wailua River adventures, a short drive to Kapa'a (great food and shopping) and centrally located for day trips to either the North Shore or the South and west."
