Recent Aston Pacific Monarch Review: "What a great location - just a block to Waikiki Beach where my 11 year old could boogie board and my 4 year old had a great beach with protected waters to play in. There was also a hula show there. Just two blocks to the zoo, and a $10 cab ride to diamond head. Also the free shuttle stop just a block away. The grocery store was only a few blocks, as well as McD's, Denny's... It was great having the kitchenette so we could have some meals at the room. Great view, the rooftop pool and hot tub were great. Couldn't beat it for the price."

| The Aston Pacific Monarch was clean, had a genuinely helpful staff, the room kitchenette was full of clean kitchen utensils, free wireless internet was provided in their rec room and it was reasonably priced. It was located three blocks from Waikiki beach. Their water was shut off due to maintenance during our stay for about 6 hours (there were postings about this occurence around the hotel, but we arrived the night before it happened and hadn't been notified when we checked in) and we were trying to cook a meal in our room at the time. Without the water we couldn't do so. I went down to the front desk and they purchased a gallon of water for us at a local grocery store at their expense. This probably cost them about $3 and about 5 minutes of their time, but this is one of the main reasons that we will consider returning to the Aston Pacific Monarch. |

| The Aston Pacific Monarch was clean, had a genuinely helpful staff, the room kitchenette was full of clean kitchen utensils, free wireless internet was provided in their rec room and it was reasonably priced. It was located three blocks from Waikiki beach. Their water was shut off due to maintenance during our stay for about 6 hours (there were postings about this occurence around the hotel, but we arrived the night before it happened and hadn't been notified when we checked in) and we were trying to cook a meal in our room at the time. Without the water we couldn't do so. I went down to the front desk and they purchased a gallon of water for us at a local grocery store at their expense. This probably cost them about $3 and about 5 minutes of their time, but this is one of the main reasons that we will consider returning to the Aston Pacific Monarch. |
