| Our room was great the 2 bedrooms have a loft room which is spacious and the condo was just lovely very up to date appliances very comfortable the grounds were lovely as well with koi ponds and bridges and tropical foliage and two swimming pools putting green and bbq area and cabana had a view of the beach from livingroom balcony was just perfect shopping center with grocery market resturants coffee shop cleaners you could stay there and just not go anywhere. Also it was Quiet. |

| This hotel is a collection of privately owned units within a five minute drive of Kaanapali beach. The unit was clean, well air-conditioned, and included a great view of the pool and beach. We were very satisfied. The only downside was the free continental breakfast that was pool-side. It was an advertising opportunity for the travel agents and unless you've never been to Maui, it was a waste of time (and the food was lousy). |

| The entire complex was well maintained and had many nice amenities. We would recommend Papakea to others. The bed in our studio condo could stand an upgrade. |

| We stayed in two different rooms during our stay. Both had ants in the bathroom. One airconditioning wall unit was not enough to cool the entire condo....especially when it was on a six hour timer that caused someone to have to wake up and cut it back on in the middle of the night. Motel staff was not a bit accomodating when it came to a late checkout. 30 minutes before checkout staff was coming by to see if we had left yet or not which we found rather harassing. Would not recommend this resort to anyone |

| The view was great, and the pools were nice. The two-bedroom unit we were in was well worn and in need of updates. There is only one A/C window unit that is located in the living area, far from the bedrooms which made sleeping uncomfortable. |

| I have been to Papakea Beach Resort before and loved it. It's a crap shoot. This time the room was terrible !!!! Not only that, but they were banging on the roof of our hotel from 7:00 a.m. Needless to say we were NOT happy. The room was in a terrible state for the price and the location. The rooms vary according to the owners. SOme owners really uopgrade or remodel the rooms and others don't. This time we were not in luck. One good thing is that becasue I complained, we were refunded all of our money. |
