| This hotel was close to the "strip" in waikiki. The hotel overall needs a make-over as many of the hotels in the area do. I think of the older hotels there in this price range, this is one ofthe better ones. I would stay here again for a cheap hotel in the area. |

| We live here on the island and often get a room downtown just for a night out. This place was perfect. Great staff, clean room, perfect location.
The only problem we had was PARKING. The ONLY place available is a public pay lot behind the hotel. That was fine with us, we totally understand that parking is difficult in Waikiki :-)
BUT..... the pay lot offered some choices to pay and none of them really worked for anyone staying at a hotel. The one we chose was the overnight choice. We paid to park from 4pm until 7am. The only other choices were to pay for 4 hours at a time or a daytime price. Needless to say no one really wants to get up before 7am to go out and repay for parking. We slept in not realizing what time it was and ended up getting a ticket! |

| I knew I was getting into a beautiful part of the world. howerver, I was winging it on the hotel reservation. This turned out to be a very nice decision. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the get-go. For the ladies...tons of nice shopping with all the name designers within walking distance! For the guys...nice pubs very close. For both...the famous Wakiki beach was within a very short walk. A half block from the hotel is Moose McGilligudy's...don't miss the fish tacos! |

| The hotel definitely has room to be remodeled. I needed a particularly large tub and that is the primary reason I chose this hotel. They did have a valet and were centrally located. However, the glowing praise stops there because primarily the continental breakfast was laughable at best (Toast and pineapple, that was all). The pool was extremely small as was the sitting area by the pool. I only had one experience with the restaraunt and it was subpar. If you need a large tub, kitchenette that actually has a stove, fridge, and microwave (a rarity in Hawaii) and also are certain that you need to be extremely close to Waikiki beach proper than this hotel will work fine. It is slightly overpriced otherwise. |

| While checking in to our confirmed, pre-paid hotel at 1:00am for the start of our two night stay, I was told my room was not available and I was being relocated to another hotel. After traveling 18 hours to get there and having experienced flight delays and luggage issues I was not in a good mood. The night receptionist behind the desk had proably wished she had chosen a different major in college rather than hotel management. They did provide transportation to a sister hotel 5 minutes away. I did prefer to stay at our original hotel as we were the first to arrive of a large group. I walked back to the hotel in the morning and waited for the manager to arrive. Everyone was very nice and offered me breakfast. When I met with Arron the manager he was aware of the problem. He offered me a suite and arranged for transport back to the hotel. The room was very nice. Very nice view if Waikiki Beach. They arranged for champane to be sent to the room. The assistant manager Jason, also very accommadating and helped us to enjoy the remainder of the stay. I would have been less angry the night before if I had known of the hotels plumbing problem in which they lost some rooms and had to relocate guests. I would go back, and hope to someday. Thanks again! We have beyyer memories of the hotel than we do of our Hawaiian criuse! They have a ncie location in the heart of the Waikiki Beach area. |
