| I highly recommend the Plantation Hale Best Western in Kapaa Kauai. Our suite was very comfortable and clean. The surroundings are well maintained and lovely. We had a very private room viewing the pool and it was very quiet. The hotel is centrally located to everything on the island which made it a very convenient starting point for each day's activities. Our room was very clean and maintained everyday with fresh towels, etc. The pools were very clean and usually empty. We were very happy with our overall stay at the Plantation Hale and will stay there again. |

| GREAT FOR THE PRICE- NEED TO DRIVE TO GET TO BEACHES THAT YOU CAN GET IN THE WATER
-ROUGH AND ROCKY NEAR HOTEL-TRAFFIC AN ISSUE IN THE AREA-BEAUTIFUL ISLAND AND THIS AREA IS PROBABLY THE MOST COMMERCIALIZED IF THAT'S YOUR THING OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO DRIVE TO SEE THE ALL THE NICER AREAS-GOOD CENTRAL LOCATION TO GET TO ALL THE OTHER SITES |

| Updated but slightly dated condo-tel type. Lamp needed to be replaced and there were some old burns in the carpet but overall it was very nice - clean.
For what we paid it was a great 2 room suite. You have a clear view of the ocean from the frontage rooms (take a second floor even though it is a walk up - it is easy). It is a short walk to the beach across the open field behind the hotel.
Front desk staff were great. Couldn't have done a better job with the Aloha attitude.
I will stay there again. |

| This is my 3rd time to stay here and it's the greatest deal for your money. Lots of room, clean, well equipped, a view of the ocean (for some rooms) with easy access to the beach, great shopping next door and restaurants nearby. Great location (halfway between everything on the island). I plan on going back and staying there again! |

| Nice place for first night on island - close to airport, reasonable nicely landscaped and close to beach. Roosters are everywhere, and make it difficult to sleep in the morning - a problem common on Kauai. |

| We needed a one night stay on Kauai before we could check into our timeshare. We were pleasantly surprised at this hotel. It basically was a complete condo. It had all of the necessities for comfort and cooking. Great location. Not on beach but could see ocean from unit. Noticed lots of guests staying several nights. I can see why. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it. |

| Very nice room with large kitchen for the price. Easy to get to both ends of the island for touring and fairly close to the airport without all the airport noise ;) Grounds and rooms kept very clean. |

| The condo was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. At only 100 m from the beach the location is ideal. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Washing mashing and dryer were also convenient. |
