| The hotel was clean and comfortable. They had issues with the food service in the hotel as the over had been turned off so I was unable to get pizza for the kids. Also, the pool area is very windy and cold. The pool gets very little sun and sometimes I just wanted to be in the pool not at the beach but the temp of the pool and lack of sun made that impossible. Still I would stay there again in a heartbeat! |

| We had originally booked at another hotel that someone told us about... it was called queen kapiolani hotel... it was a dump and after a night of staying there we needed to relocate... so we found the Hyatt Place. We were more than happy with our stay there. I wish they had room service and a jacuzzi. Everything else was great. Clean rooms, starbucks in the lobby, cafe style ordering in the lobby. I would for sure go back. |

| Very clean and modern Hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was included and there was a great selection of food which was all good. I was very satisfied with my stay and will return. |

| I just wanted a simple room to stay in while I was flying back home from Asia. I stayed at Ocean Resort for three days and my stay was great. The room was clean, I had a good view, the staff was great... And the rate was really good! It was an older place, and is having some remodeling done to it's entrance, but other that that, it was great!
I wanted a clean, inexepensive room in Waikiki and that's exactly what I got.
The staff were kind and professional, got me in very quickly and hassle free.
Overall, it was a good deal! |

| This hotel was in the middle of some renovations when we stayed, so the rates were pretty low. That being said, you get exactly what you pay for. A cheap hotel. Parking is extra, and they charge for each day. Wifi is extra, and they charge per day for that as well. None of the signs in the lobby are in English (Korean?) so we had to shuffle around awkwardly until someone told us where the front desk was. No one helped us move our many suitcases from the parking lot (up a flight of stairs!) let alone up to our room.
The room, as the hotel already knows, is in need of renovation. The shower was tiny. Teeny tiny. I'm 5'4" and I hit my head on it. My husband is six feet tall and he had to crouch down to use it like Buddy the Elf. The bed was not comfortable. Granted, it's a hotel mattress and not our own bed, but even by hotel mattress standards we tossed and turned quite a bit. Sleeping in was out of the question. We found one (small) roach, and our window faced directly onto a crowded apartment complex. There was allegedly a microwave on another floor that we could use, but not one in our room.
The AC was crazy loud and the room was uncomfortable without it on. We had to have the TV blaring to hear our movie over the AC. For some reason the hotel had it set on 69 degrees when we arrived.
All of that said, It is located literally steps from the Honolulu zoo and Waikiki beach, which is pretty awesome. I'm not disappointed with my stay here because the price was so crazy cheap. But I'm not all that wowed with this place either. Given how shabby this place is, they should have at least thrown in free Wifi or discounted parking. Or helped us move our suitcases up the stairs. I mean seriously. We're in the process of moving out of Hawaii and we had three suitcases, my husband's sea bag, a uniform bag and two other bags and the staff just watched us move it all.

| I booked this hotel the night before I traveled. I had a problem with a previous reservation. I knew the area yet not the Ocean Resort. For what I paid I received a very quiet secure room , with an ocean view. I travel a good deal for business and have stayed in several four star hotels in the area. This hotel, was a great find. The staff was courteous, the room was clean, the other patrons were well behaved. |
