We stayed at the CRH Maui Kamoale for two nights. The condo was spacious and fully equipped. I would recommend this location to families or for longer stays -- if you don't mind having to drive everywhere except the beach, which is a short walk. However, there were a couple of negatives here. The unit was overrun with tiny ants. The ant repellent we  found in one of the closets did not seem to have any affect on them. We didn't feel comfortable leaving food out on the counters (I hid food in the microwave and refridgerator). If we were going to stay longer, I'm sure that housekeeping would have been able to address the issue. Also, this place had the feel of a large apartment complex you would find stateside; winding roads and expansive parking and buildings labeled A-M. It was hard to walk around the complex (to the pools or down to the beach) without getting lost. The list of guest rules that we were given upon check-in also made it seem like we were imposing on finicky relatives rather than on a relaxing vacation. The rules are offensively common-sense (i.e. no climbing on buildings) or silly (no playing catch in parking/driving areas). When we first arrived I was "yelled at" by a neighboring condo owner for pulling my suitcase over the grass instead of picking it up. Finally, the location was only ok. Although it is close to the beach, and it was fine walking down through the complex and across Kihei Rd to get to Kamaole Beach III, it certainly isn't beachfront. And you need to drive to go anywhere else in Kihei.
