| The reviews we read on this place made it sound a bit shabby and outdated. We were pleasantly surprised to find a nicely remodeled and updated room, complete with a newly tiled shower and flat screen TV. The room was very comfortable.
Walking distance to everything in Waikiki, traffic was a little noisy, but not brad. Breakfast was lame - even for continental standards. Staff were very helpful. Great place for the money -- will definitely stay here again. |

| This hotel was reasonable, but not accurate as to its location. While the hotel claims to be 2 blocks from Wikiki Beach, it is not. It 2 miles from the actual Wikiki beach, and well over half a mile from the closest beach at which one would want to swim. Also the room was noisy as the hotel is on a main road, and the free breakfast offered at the hotel was relentlessly mediocre. But the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and there are many restuarants closeby. Ala Mona Park is also close and it is a nice place for a morning run. |

| We have stayed at this hotel before. I enjoy the friendly staff and the price. The decor of the room is very pretty which is contrary to the appearance of the building.
The size of the shower stall is definetely for only one person. This trip our AC took a while to cool the room but after about an hour of being on high, it did cool it down.
I would recommend this hotel because on the average, the hotel is very nice. |

| There is no luxury in this hotel, but it is clean and nice. When you go to Hawaii, you are in your room to sleep only. I would recommend it. |

| Only had one elevator that is located on the second floor. Thus, you have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs without any help. Moreover, the elevator runs extremely slow. It is faster to walk up the stairs - seven floors. |
