Recent Grand Wailea Waldorf Astoria Review: "The Grand Wailea was just great! In spite of some of the negative reveiws I had read prior to our travel, I was completely satisfied with our accomodations. I have come to the conclusion that you really have to experience some things for your self before making a decision based on someone else's experience. Had myself, my husband, and our two boys not stayed at the Grand Wailea, we certainly would have missed out on a GREAT experience. It was truly our best vacation so far! The resort exceeded our expectations. The grounds are absoulutely beautiful. The pools are incredible. The staff was friendly, and sunset on the beach is amazing. Please don't let someone else who may have had a unfortunate experience with one cituation at the hotel, conclude that the whole resort is awful. Keep in mind perfection is hard to come by these days. But the Grand Wailea is as close as you can get. Go, see for yourself. It was truly incredible."
