| This Resort Defines Hawaii - Lush, Immaculate grounds, friendly staff, Ocean View in Building 20. You will fall in love with the resort. Parking is covered so your car stays cool. Movie Theater up the road and grocery\drug store, and other shops. Need a car. Golf course is behind resort - Royal Kona, pricey but beautiful. I cant say enough about this resort, the reason we go back to Hawaii was due to the experience of this resort in the past. |

| Had a wonderful and quiet overnight stay at the Holua. The condo unit was very clean and comfortable. Well worth my first booking with hotel.com. Tennis enthusiast will love the tennis complex while beach loving people not so much. Service was excellent, Sam Choy's Restaurant is a short distance away. Convenient to the golf course which we overlooked and the Sheraton Keauhou is next door and the Keauhou Bay is just a short walk away. My mother and I enjoyed our stay there and will certainly return at our next opportunity. |

| This condo resort is amazing. I am fully confident it is the best value on all of Big Island. The grounds are wonderfully landscaped, condos very spacious, and staff super friendly. You can read all about how great this place is in other reviews, but here is my tip: speak to the concierge; he will tell you all the best things to do and even where to *actually* see lava! We did! Have a nice stay. |

| Very nice and comfortable apartment with plenty of room! Wish we'd stayed there more than one night. The place is in the resort area though, so you need a car to go around. |

| We stayed at the Holua Resort in September after reading several very good reviews of the property. It was only about a 20 minute drive from the airport on the west side of the island where many good public snorkeling beaches are located, and there are many good restaurants and shopping areas close by as well. The resort property is beautiful with covered parking, many pools and hot tubs, grills, and tennis courts. The room we stayed in was very spacious and extremely clean and comfortable - we could have stayed here for a month! I'd highly recommend this hotel, and we'll be back the next time we vacation in Hawaii! |

| The master bedroom, which was down stairs, did get hot even with the a/c on. We had to keep the heavy drapes closed during the day to help keep the room cool. Other than that it was great. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Our 16year old thought it was the best hotel he has ever stayed in. With the full kitchen we were able to cook breakfast which saved us some money from having to eat out. There was a local market nearby, made it easy to buy things. We arrived early and our room was not ready so the receptionist gave us a list of places to eat with discounts. The only other negative thing was the parking. There was one parking garage in the center of the complex and our room was quite a distance from there. They did have staff riding small carts that would take you to your room as needed. If you're with people that have difficulty walking, you might request a room near the garage. The rooms were clean and the bright colors really made you feel like you were on vacation. We would definetly stay again. |
