Recent Jw Marriott Ihilani Ko Review: "Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! We paid for an ocean view room, but I swear we were upgraded to a deluxe ocean view (which simply means you don't have anything between your room and the ocean, like a pool). It was our honeymoon, and unfortunatley we were only able to spend 3 days here, but those 3 days were perfect. I'd spend the extra money for a cabana, at least one day, and try to get a package that includes breakfast (the buffet that you get with it is fantastic! but very expensive if you pay on your own). Oh, and I'd self park your car. You still have to pay for daily parking but at least you don't have to tip the valet every time you want to leave. While it seems that all I have is tips on saving money at this expensive, but completely worth it resort, I would go back in a heart beat...no questions asked."

| A short guide to Ko Olina |
|
Luxury beachfront resorts hug the circular coves of Ko Olina, about 20 minutes west of Pearl Harbor. Ko Olina tends to be less crowded than the Honolulu area, but it is by no means lacking in activities. Charter boats at the Ko Olina Marina set sail for big-game fishing and leisure cruises. Nearby, the Hawaii Waters Adventure Park offers 29 acres of water rides, dining, and miniature golf.
