Recent Kaanapali Ocean Inn Review: "Ok we only stayed one night but we had a great time here. We didn't realize when we made the reservation that there is no elevator in the Ocean Inn. Our room was on the third floor so that was basically unworkable for my partner with serious knee problems. Fortunately the hotel wasn't booked that night and they found us a room in the tower instead (the Ocean Inn is a small building in a large resort). They definitely get 5 stars for customer service on this. In fact, it was the bellman who was taking us to our room who inquired about whether the stairs would be a problem, then he worked with the desk to get us another room. Serious kudos guys. Since we didn't actually stay in the Ocean Inn I can't really comment on the quality of the rooms, but the room we had in the tower (Kaanapali Innr) was beautiful. Large, sunny, overlooking the golf course and ocean. Really nice amenities."

    A short guide to Lahaina
