| the actual unit was lovely and large. The kitchen was well supplied.I would suggest trying to get an upper unit,though. I had the Elephant family stomping around upstairs for most of the trip.
The perks like the SPA were terrific and the Ritz Carleton pool and gratuities were wonderful. The pool restaurant and Bar were great. Stay away from the restaurant at the beach, though, not as good food,and with surly service. Also,if you want a lot of action near home base try another area. It was very quiet( except for the elephants) and people very private. Great for stressed out guests. |

| The rooms had good size and plenty of room to accomodate a family of 5. The room had a beatiful view of the ocean and the area surrounding the condo was immaculate. The only downsize is its not real close to the ocean and not really within walking distance. It's also a little distance from Lahaina. But it was a great property and although a little isolated, we would stay there again. |

| This was a gr8 place to stay but... Make sure you research the location of the resort cause its miles from town. It would of been better if we hired a car but the driving on the othe side of the road was off putting. I also did not realize that there is a free shuttle bus from the smaller airport, kap 'west' to the resort. |

| Bei der Ankunft hat weder Internet noch Telefon funktioniert, so hatten wir am ersten Abend keinen Service und auch keinen Kontakt zum FrontDesk. Problem gem. Kapalua Villas: Der Eigentümer hat die Telefonrechnung nicht bezahlt!! Am zweiten Tag haben wir die Villa gewechselt, danach war alles in Ordnung. Aussicht super, Personal besonders im Ritz Carlton war sehr freundlich!!! |

| We stayed in a gold ocean front villa which are the best you can book and were very glad we did as the ocean views were just beautiful. The villa itself was a lot more modern than we thought it would be from judging the pictures online. The was lots of space and the villa was fully equipped with everything we could want. I would recommend hiring a car though (which we hadn't) as Kapalua is quite far from everything else and taxis are expensive, there are no bus services near by only the hotel shuttle which only services their area. It was nice being out of the tourist hotspots and really being able to get away and relax in such beautiful accommodations which we felt were very reasonably priced for what you get. The only cons are the service at the front desk. They weren't very welcoming when we arrived and we witnessed two customer complaints when we were checking in and also out which didn't seem to be handled very well either (we had no complaint though). Overall I would highly recommend the hotel based on the quality of the villas, the beautiful location and the price. |

| Wenn man eine Gold-Unit Bucht ist man hier sicher bestens aufgehoben, die Standard Zimmer sind alt, unrenoviert und schmuddelig. Der Schnitt der Wohnungen und auch der Blick auf Meer aus Wohn- und Schlafzimmer ist grandios. Wirklich empfehlenswert ist das Kapalua SPA. |

| ゴルフが満喫でき、すばらしい休暇となりました。
部屋は海が見えるGoldステータスのビラで綺麗でした。唯一、レセプションの日本人の女性が無愛想で、がっかりでした。 |

| We tried the oceanfront and were extremely satisfied. We were greeted with a wall of windows looking out at the ocean, rocks and beach below. The owners of the unit had left two boogie boards and three coolers - nice touch but each owner is different. We had marble floors (great because of the daily sand), and the fold-out bed was great for the kids. The A/C and fans were terrific and the kitchen was fully loaded. Shopping at Costco (near airport) or Safeway (Lahaina) recommended. Also a great shop at the location for small items. Ritz pool was fun for the kids. The daily $25 "resort fee" covered our calls to the U.S., visits to the Villa's spa (larger than the Ritz per my wife), etc. Parking was convenient. Trails were terrific. Honoloa Bay is a must for snorkling - Kapalua Bay great for snorkeling, swimming. Beaches in front of Villas better for boarding. The Ulalena show was also terrific. It was a bit more for beachfront, but the daily morning Kona coffees on the beach, while kids played in the ocean, made it worth it. Plenty of wind during our July visit and some construction going on. |

| We stayed in bldg 20, lower level villa 3. Beautifully furnished with a patio facing a pristine view of the ocean, Lanai Island and theGolf Course. We were very happy with the look of the villa although the blinds broke in one of the bedrooms, obstructing the view, and didn't get fixed during our visit even though we contacted maintenance. We also had problems with the refrigerator and toilet, but they were quick to fix both! Loved the convenience of the shuttle...we never waited more than 10 minutes. Very friendly drivers and front desk attendants. |
