Recent Kauai Beach Resort Review: "This hotel is conveniently located near the Lihue airport. It took us approximately 8 min. by rental car to go from the reception lobby of the hotel to the check in counter at the airline. we needed to spend an extra day in Kauai do to our flight arrangements. as it turned out, it was a wonderful experience. The hotel staff accomodated us with an up graded room the moment we arrived because the room we reserved was not ready yet. The reason for that is that we arrived to the hotel 3 hours ahead of check-in time. It did not matter, the hotel was glad to be of assistance. That is the kind of service that sets great hotels apart from good ones. The lobby is impressive. Valet parking is available the moment you pull up and the parking attendents are helpful without being pushy. there is a parking fee you will need to pay, but we did not find that to be a detraction. The pool area is the centerpiece of the courtyard and is gorgeous. There are areas for the kids to play on one side complete with a water slide. The other side of the pool area is more quiet were you can read a book or take a dip near other grown ups. In between the pools is a cabana, complete with an outdoor bar. We found the service at bar area to be attentive and fun. The drinks weren't bad either! Just past the pool area is a private hotel beach. The reception area will supply beach towels for you at your request. Also, at the cabana, you can rent boogie boards and snorkling gear. Again, convenience was a key feature to what this hotel had to offer. There is a 24 hour fitness center, a hotel general store and a nice restaraunt on site. Although we did not plan to use this hotel when planning our vacation, we would actually consider staying at this place for an extended period of time on future trips. Although the airport is in close proximity, I don't think we noticed one plane disturbing our visit. We found the pricing to be extremely reasonable. Our advice to you; check it out!"

    The Kauai Beach Resort- an Aqua Boutique is set on an isolated stretch of beach with an adjacent sunning lawn. Due to strong undertows, ocean swimming is not recommended. The resort's pool complex includes a sandy-beach lagoon pool, three freeform pools, a waterslide, and two large spa tubs in a secluded grotto. A fitness center provides free weights, cardio machines, and a sauna. A volleyball court is also on site.

    Wailua Golf Course is a five-minute drive north. The Wailua River, about two miles north, is the longest navigable river in Hawaii and is popular for boating and kayaking trips.

    The Kauai Beach Resort- an Aqua Boutique is located along three miles of secluded beach in Lihue, Hawaii. Lihue Airport and the towns of Wailua and Lihue are four miles from the hotel.

    Naupaka Terrace, the hotel's signature restaurant, offers premium-choice aged beef and local seafood in an outdoor setting. Torch-lit waterfalls and views of the ocean and pool add atmosphere. The Driftwood Sandbar & Grille offers casual dining in a garden atmosphere, while specialty drinks and appetizers are served at Shutters Lounge. Live bands perform nightly. Business amenities include 13,000 square feet of meeting space and a business center with fax, copy and print services.
