| Great hotel---steps from an amazing beach (with a protected reef that was great for snorkelling---saw turtles every day!)
Spacious clean room with comfy beds
Mini fridge was handy
Amazing property---lots of pools to choose from if you don't want to go into the ocean |

| This Marriott is located right on Poipu Beach. The rooms are large, clean, and have full kitchens and laundry in all the units. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. No attitudes or complacency.
Several pools and hot tubs are clean and well maintained. The gym was also well kept and all the equipment working and well supplied with towels etc. This place is an annual trip for us since they opened. Played several rounds of golf at the newly redone Poipu Bay at the Grand Hyatt. Had no problem finishing with a twilight tee time. The Hyatt luau was fantastic.
It will contiue to be one of our favorites. |

| We had a nice hotel type room without kitchen. It had 2 beds - a King and a double. The bathroom was large with both a tub and a seperate shower. Most of the other rooms in the resort are condo style with kitchens. The TV was great with lots of channels and there was free internet available. The pool and hot tub were excellent. There are barbeques available for cooking outside. The hotel is right on the beach in Poipu. We went snorkeling in the ocean next to the beach and saw some colorful fish. There was a sea turtle on the beach one evening. The grounds are well maintained and relaxing with water features. There are nice restaurants nearby such as Brennecke's that is within walking distance and other restaurants a short drive away such as Merriman's. We enjoyed our stay at the Waiohai Marriott. |

| This is an absolutely gorgeous property with maticulously maintained landscaping, multiple pools and right on the best beach on Kauai. I also love the Honu Bar where you can sip cocktails and have lunch while overlooking the ocean - you can't get any closer. My only complaint is that I thought I signed-up for a 2-bedroom condo, but got a very noisy (but large) regular hotel room. I was looking forward to cooking and hanging-out there, but had to adjust my plans. In room 1101, I was woken-up all through-out the night by the sound of the elevator, the air conditioning kicking on (which was extremely noisy), carts going by the path early in the morning, clanging around from the utility room across the hall where they keep all the chambermaid supplies and maintenance. |
