Recent Maui Beach Review: "This is definately more a business hotel than one for families..you have to have a car to be able to feed children. No one with kids would be able to eat more than breakfast at 7.00 per person....no real variation in menu and dinner starting at just under 30.00 to king crab night at just under 40.00 a roll, coffee and fruit at the snack shop was just under 9.00. The staff was good the food OK but just out of our price range..we had two twelve year olds with us and there was no way they could eat enough to justify taking them in the dining room, they do not eat enough..also if I had a business meeting I would see about catering food and skip the dining room..."

| We booked the hotel due to it's close proximity to the airport and our very early flight time. It was fine for the length of time we stayed. The bed was a little hard for our taste, but again we were only there one night. The view on the waterfront was awesome and the wait staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good as well. |

| I was not overly impressed with the Maui Beach Hotel. The front desk was understaffed, the hotel pool closed at 5pm and the hotel bar at 8pm. It was very comfortable although it is in a busy neighborhood. |

| The Staff at the Maui Beach Hotel were very nice and extremely helpful. For example, we were able to check-in early because our room was ready and they were happy to assist with extra pillows and the like. Excellent location in Kahului. Our room was a little dark (especially the closet) and the bed wasn't the most comfortable, but for the price it was just fine. |

| We used this place to recover from our journey to Maui and get a well rested start to the drive to Hana. I would not recommend this place to someone who wants to vacation in Maui. (Actually Kahului as a whole is not where you want to stay when you visit Maui.)
We had a buffet dinner and breakfast at this hotel and both were quite bad. In addition the lady who was running the show at the 'restaurant' was rather rude and inattentive. |

| Nice, clean, super convenient and reasonably priced hotel less than 10 minutes from the Maui Airport. Free shuttle available to/from the airport. I received a 50% off voucher for dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant upon checking in. Good food.....buffet style. The air conditioner in the room could have worked better, otherwise it was an uneventful stay. Room was quiet and slept well. |

| This hotel fit our needs for a one night stay between flights. The convenience of shuttle service was our biggest need and it worked out perfectly. The shuttle drivers were friendly and helpful with suggestions for local activities.
The room was clean but small. The bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern. Having internet service available was a real plus.
If we need a night stay in this area again, we would stay here. |

| Flew in for one night to ride bikes down Haleakala (Sunrise tour). Clean room and location near airport was perfect. Hotel staff very helpful. Checked out at 3:15AM but left our bags until after the bike ride. Everything went very smooth. |

| For the price, the hotel was not up to par. The first room they gave us was really hot and the air conditioner was stuck on low. I went to the front desk and they gave us the room next door. Again, the air conditioning wasn't working. For the second time I went back to the front desk and again they gave us another room...finally a room with an air conditioner that worked.
The service was really good, the front desk clerk was very understanding and helpful. The hotel itself needs improvement for the price that they charge. It definitely isn't worth the money! |
