Recent Maui Coast Hotel Review: "There are a lot of hotel choices in Kihei on here, and this one by far was one of the best. We had a rental, and proceeded to drive around Kihei to look at all of the other hotel choices that we were considering. What we found... that they all looked like dumps. The Wyndham looked decent, but the rest were dumps. I wont mention them by name, but let's  just say that most were condos either on or across the street from a beach. Pictures do lie sometimes. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The lobby was spacious. They had free WIFI and a small business center. Their maids REALLY clean your room. The pool was clean and decent. They had live entertainment at the pool the 2 times that I went down there. The beach was right across the street. The access road to the main highway was right around the corner. Parking was free. They give you 2 complimentary bottles of water per day in the mini fridge. LOL They also have tennis courts in the back of the property. There is a $17.50/day resort fee that includes free bike rentals, etc. We stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend, and I saw a minimum of 3 flight crews checking in. So if this place is good enough for captains and their crews, then it's good enough for you."
