Recent Park Shore Waikiki Aqua Review: "First time at this hotel; I'll be back. Views cannot be beat. Location=awesome. Lulu's Restaurant/bar is on 2nd floor (and open to outside) open 7a-2a - not bad bar food and live music. ABC store off lobby and another out front. Surf school 5 steps away and a Starbucks next to that! Hotel is older, and rooms are not large but have updated furniture,  paint, linens, TV, and mini fridge. Microwave not included (but available), room safe has a nominal fee (didn't need it). Love that they do "sheet/blanket/sheet" and the white on seafoam green really added to the beachy feel. My king bed was real comfy. I was on the 15th floor and had an almost 360 view; straight ahead-Diamond Head, the Honolulu Zoo, the beach (and boardwalk), and the ocean. Outdoor pool (also part of my view) was on 2 or 3 and looked inviting, but I swam at the beach. The staff is A+++ Friendly, welcoming, helpful and chill. In Waikiki, but you'd never know by the view from my room and balcony! You could pay lots more for a hotel with a granite lobby...but why would you when you can stay in this gem!"
