Overall the resort was well maintained but our condo ended up having bed bugs and we had to move. We were told there were no bed bugs after pest control looked over the room but I was bit more than 50 times and my other half at least 25. Bed bugs are microscopic and only come out at night so they wouldn't be able to find them during the day. Owner would only refund for one night and we left with open wounds from our stay in their condo. My first trip to Hawaii and I was very disappointed the owners did not see my vacation was not all that enjoyable and give an adequate refund. I would definitely ask which condo I am going to next time to be sure it is not that one. The second condo was nice and no bed bugs--go figure. The resort is set nicely on the water with more than enough pools to swim in as well. I plan to return to the island but will think twice about the resort.
