| The Sands of Kahana was nice. The management does not know what they are doing. This is the first time i am writing a review. I liked the beach, i thought no air conditioning would be ok but it wasn't. Upon check in we were told they had overbooked and they were putting us in a 2 bedroom for 2 days (we booked a 1 br) I didn't think they would really make us move on our holiday but they sure did!!! Quite forcefully too. There was a message left sometime in the middle of the night about meeting the manager at 8 to switch rooms. We had a snorking tour booked and were leaving at 7. We went and told the front desk we would be back around 2. When we got back they had deactivated our room keys and had a cleaner outside waiting for us. My 2 girls and I were seasick and just wanted to lay down but the hotel mad us move right away cause they had someone else coming in. We had all our food to pack as well it took close to an hour of our holiday we had book months ago to move. I went down and told them how i felt and they just looked at me kinda so sad too bad. Anyway pillow in 2 br nice 1br not nice. Management does not have any customer service skills at all and the different areas of the hotel do not know what the other one is doing. Also the address is in Lahaina but it is about 20 mins away from there. This is my second time in Maui and I will not stay at the Sands of Kahana if i go back again |

| We enjoyed our stay at this condo complex. Our unit had a partial ocean view which was lovely. The property was located on the beach with easy access. There were also free activities for guests. The property was located along the bus route so transportation was not a problem even though we did not have a rental car. |

| Our stay at the Sands of Kahana was better than we expected. We had a view of the ocean and could watch whales from our deck. The unit was very large with everything we could have wanted. Our kids were wowed. We loved it. Our unit had air conditioning which I wasn't expecting. The unit was very quiet and clean. We had a two bedrroom unit which would be great for two couples or families with teenagers. The bedrooms were along way from each other so not great for families with small children. I was worried that we might be along way north on the island away from things but it was only a short drive to Lahaina . There was a nice beach and a restaurant by the pool. Everything was great. |

| NO Air-Conditioning in any of the Living Units! Unbelievable for a year-round hot climate like Hawaii!
Also, no assistance with luggage unless you find a maintenance employee and ask for assistance...worth a good tip. |

| The experience for my wife and I was fantastic. Overall service was great and the room was clean, accomidating and beautiful. Beaches were near by for snorkling and acitvities were very easy to scedule. We will be back. |
