Recent Waikiki Marina Hotel Review: "Depending upon your plans this hotel is in the most perfect location. It is only a short distance to EVERYTHING! The malls, the beach, the marina are all closeby. If you don't feeling like walking there are several options for very cheap transporation right outside your door. The hotel was still in the process of renovations when we visiting. They were updating the rooms, decor, tvs and beds. Your stay will likely be even better than ours. The only complaint that I could voice was that the elevator did have problems for about a day and a half while we were there. That did make traveling to and from our room more difficult/slow. At that point, we were on the 40th floor. The views can not be beat. We stayed in 2 different rooms during our stay and both were great. (They moved us to one of the penthouse rooms for our last few days because they were replacing the ceramic tiles in the hallway on the floor in front of our room, their idea)."

Waikiki established its reputation as a getaway when the Moana Surfrider opened its doors in 1901.
